According to Global Finance Magazine’s 31st annual selection of the best banks in the world and each country, Awash Bank was selected as the best bank from Ethiopia for the 3rd time.

In the year The election held in 2024 includes banks operating in more than 150 countries, and the main criteria of the election include quantitative objective and informed subjective criteria.    

The recognition and award ceremony for the winning banks was held by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) in Washington,  It has been announced that it will be done at their joint conference in October 2024.
