Top Performing Merchants
To encourage active engagement and top performance, the Bank plan to recognize and incentivize the highest-performing merchants in each of the 13 regions.

- Weekly Prizes: Each week, one top-performing merchant under each of the 13 Awash Bank Regional Offices will be awarded a Samsung Galaxy phone A series valued up to ETB 20,000
- Total Awards: Over the campaign period, a total of 52 phones (13 per week across 4 weeks) will be awarded.
This incentive plan highlights weekly recognition for consistent top performance in each region, fostering regional competition and sustained engagement among merchants throughout the campaign.
For merchants to qualify for the incentives, the following eligibility criteria will apply:
- Weekly Prize Eligibility: To be considered for the weekly Samsung Galaxy phone award, for city merchants must complete a minimum of 25 transactions with a total transaction amount of at least ETB 50,000 during that week and also for outlying merchants minimum of 10 transactions along with a total transaction of ETB 30,000.
- For Merchant Cashiers
The incentives for merchant cashiers shall be provided as per the transaction number and amount range described in the below table: –

Note: The cashier incentive will be awarded when merchants meet the minimum criteria specified in the table, either through transaction number or transaction amount.
