MasterCard Campaign

The campaign (“Promotion”) commences on 01 July 2025 and concludes on 31 August 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). The duration of the Promotion is 2 months.

2.1. This Promotion is open to all holders of the Awash Bank Mastercard Prepaid card (“Eligible Card”).
2.2. Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Spend campaign:
3.1. Campaign Message:

• “Spend $100 or more for a chance to win exciting prizes! The more you spend, the greater your chances of winning!”

3.2. Incentive Structure:

• Bi-weekly Prizes: Prizes will be awarded every two weeks during the Promotion Period.
• Grand Prize: A grand prize will be awarded at the end of the Promotion Period.

3.3. Winner Announcements: Winners will be announced via Awash Bank’s social media channels and website.
3.4. Prize Collection: Prizes may be collected at Awash Bank’s head office (Awash Towers, Ras Abebe Aregay St Addis ababa, Ethiopia), unless otherwise stated.

4.1. To enter the Promotion, participants must make purchases totalling a minimum of $100 using their eligible Awash Bank Mastercard Prepaid card during the Promotion Period.
4.2. Each qualifying transaction automatically enters the cardholder into the prize draws.

5.1. Bi-weekly Prize Draws:

• Prizes will be drawn every two weeks during the Promotion Period.
• Winners will be selected based on highest spend during each 2-week period during the Promotion Period.
• Winners will be notified via the contact details registered with Awash Bank within 3 business days of the draw.

5.2. Grand Prize Draw:

• The final grand prize draw will take place within 10 business days after the end of the Promotion Period.
• Winners will be notified via the contact details registered with Awash Bank within 3 business days of the draw.
• If the highest spender has already won a bi-weekly prize during the Promotion Period, the next highest spender who has not won any prize during the Promotion Period will be selected.

6.1. All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
6.2. The prize draws are based on transaction data from purchases made with the eligible Awash Bank Mastercard Prepaid Card. Only qualifying purchases will be considered.
6.3. Prizes are subject to availability. Awash Bank reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if necessary.

7.1. Purchase reversals, refunds, and transactions disputed by the cardholder are excluded from this Promotion.
7.2. Transactions that are not completed or are cancelled during the payment process will not qualify as eligible entries.

8.1. Awash Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by participants as a result of their participation in this Promotion or in connection with the use or enjoyment of any prizes.
8.2. This Promotion is subject to change or withdrawal at the sole discretion of Awash Bank, without prior notice.

9.1. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and to indemnify Awash Bank against any claims arising from their participation.
9.2. These Terms & Conditions, as well as any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with this Promotion (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia.

Winners must collect their prizes in person at Awash Bank’s head office (Awash Towers, Ras Abebe Aregay St Addis ababa, Ethiopia), unless alternate arrangements are specified in writing by Awash Bank. All winners will be contacted directly by Awash Bank and collection instructions will be outlined to winners by Awash Bank. Winners must present valid national identification document upon collection of their prize. All prizes must be collected within 30 calendar days of communication from Awash Bank, as per the agreed upon date and time communicated by Awash Bank. Failure to adhere to these prize collection conditions will result in a forfeiture of the prize.
