Senior – Environmental, Social and Governance Officer

BA Degree in Environmental Studies, Economics, or another related field plus a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in ESG area, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

Professional course in related fields (added advantage).

Job Summary

The jobholder is responsible for supporting the overall ESG activities in the Bank. He/she supports the implementation of the Bank’s ESG agenda/strategy across business units, supporting integration into operational workflows, handling ESG data and reporting, and ensuring compliance with applicable frameworks. The role also includes providing technical guidance on ESG-related risk assessments, and supporting sustainable finance product/service development. The jobholder acts as a liaison between the ESG unit and business functions to ensure effective ESG integration and compliance to ESG regulations and standards.
